Licensed Practical Nurse 7am - 7pm

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team! This person should have excellent communication skills and follow through and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

•  Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.

•  Monitor vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.

•  Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) when needed.

•  Provide emotional support to patients and families.

•  Educate patients and families about health care maintenance.

•  Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse.

• Assist with geriatric care needs.

• Communicate with MD and outside providers regarding care.

 

Qualifications:

 

•  Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the state

•  Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and makes quick decisions.

•  Can foster good resident and family relationships.

•  Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.

•  A passion for working with elderly residents.

•  Experience in a Nursing Home or Assisted Living Facility
