Payroll Specialist

Due to growth, Omnia Healthcare Group is adding a Payroll Specialist to our home office payroll team. The Payroll Specialist position assists employees with timecard reconciliation, payroll journal review, and maintains employee database and files. Please note, this is a fully on-site position at our Lincolnwood, Illinois office, with no remote option.

Payroll Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Review payroll journals for accuracy

•  Ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in the payroll system for payroll deduction.

•  Serve as a point of contact for payroll related questions, inquiries, and concerns.

•  Review and Assure entries are accurately inputted to reflect changes.  

• Other duties as assigned.

Payroll Specialist Qualifications and Skills: 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiar with general accounting principles.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Payroll Specialist Education and Experience: 

• Data Entry experience required.

• Previous payroll experience required.

• Experience using Paycor preferred.
