CentralCare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Room RN Registered Nurse to provide full-time services at Darnell Army Medical Center in Fort Cavazo, TX. This is a great opportunity for Emergency Room Nurses to support our military and their families as federal civilian contractors.

Emergency Room RN Registered Nurse Details: 

  •  

  • Pay: $55.00 - $60.00/hour

  • Benefit:  PTO, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays, Additional Health + Welfare Rate of $4.57/hour

  • Availability:Full Time

  • Shift:3X12s + 1 8 hour shift (80 hours bi-weekly)

  • Schedule: Variable - must be available to work nights

  • Contract Length:1 year Preferred (opportunity to extend) 

  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:45-60 days

Emergency Room RN Registered Nurse Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.
  • Perform physical exam and health histories.
  • Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
  • Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
  • Direct and supervise care provide by other healthcare professionals.
  • Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
  • Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergencies.
  • Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
  • Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.

Emergency Room RN Registered Nurse Qualifications: 

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Active Nursing License in TX
  • BLS 
  • ACLS
  • PALS 
  • TNCC
  • Conscious Sedation
