About the Role:

• As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for washing, drying, and folding linens, clothing, and other items for our residents
• Ensure that all laundry is completed in a timely and efficient manner to meet the needs of our residents and staff
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to infection control standards and protocols
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the laundry department
• Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor or designee

Responsibilities:

• Wash, dry, and fold linens, clothing, and other items for our residents
• Operate industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and folders
• Sort and categorize laundry items according to type and fabric
• Maintain accurate records of laundry activities, including inventory and usage
• Participate in quality control checks to ensure that laundry meets our high standards
• Collaborate with other department staff to ensure that laundry meets the needs of our residents and staff
