Accounts Payable Coordinator (A/P)

Omnia Healthcare Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team! The primary responsibility of the Accounts Payable Coordinator is to manage the company’s accounts payable process and function in a professional and knowledgeable manner.  As a member of the Accounts Payable team, the Accounts Payable Coordinator works under the supervision of the Accounts Payable Supervisor and the Director of Accounts Payable and Vendor Relations. The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the daily management of the payment of invoices. This role is based in our Lincolnwood, Illinois Home Office and requires in-person work Monday through Friday, with no possibilities of remote work.

Accounts Payable Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Review, code and input invoices/check requests into A/P system.  

• Ensure invoices follow A/P policy and procedures.  

• Assist with processing weekly check runs.  

• Communicate with vendors/purchasing to resolve invoice discrepancies.  

• Reconcile invoices to vendor statements and purchase orders.  

• Assist in the month-end close.  

• Perform vendor file maintenance.  

• Assist other team members when necessary.  

• All other duties, as assigned.  

Accounts Payable Coordinator Skills and Abilities: 

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.  

• Strong communication, customer service, and organization skills.  

• Strong attention to detail; accuracy and proficiency in data entry. 

• Ability to multitask.  

Accounts Payable Coordinator Education and Experience: 

• Minimum: 2-4 years A/P related work experience.  

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.  

• Experience working with multiple facilities is a plus.  

• Experience with two and three way match.  

Physical Requirements:  

• Must have the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop and reach, and to use hands to  

• manipulate the computer, writing, calculator or other instruments to carry out  

• responsibilities of the position.  

• Must be able to lift objects up to 20 pounds.  

• Must have adequate vision to perform essential job functions.
