We are seeking a talented and compassionate Director of Social Services to join our team at Envive Healthcare of Anderson. As a Director of Social Services, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our residents and their families.

The Director of Social Services will be responsible for overseeing the social services department, ensuring that all residents receive compassionate and personalized care. You will work closely with our care team to develop and implement individualized service plans, providing emotional support and social activities to enhance the resident's quality of life. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the social services department, including recruiting, hiring, and training social services staff

• Develop and implement individualized service plans for residents, ensuring their emotional, social, and spiritual needs are met

• Collaborate with the care team to identify and address resident needs, providing emotional support and social activities

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards

• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and agencies to secure resources and services for residents

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care and services are provided

• Supervise and mentor social services staff, providing guidance and coaching as needed

Requirements:

• Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Social Service Designee Course Completion

• Education in the healthcare field and previous experience in the long-term care industry are desirable

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
