The Hire Mark is recruiting a full-time Healthcare marketer for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

 

SUMMARY

 

Driving all aspects of the external marketing efforts of the facility by planning and executing community resource contact visits required. Contributes to the overall impression of the facility in the market place to seek, gain and hold market share. Manages design and production of planned marketing programs by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates or other team members. Performs all admitting functions for the patient including obtaining all pertinent documents and signatures, and provides necessary notification to resident and family. Coordinates internal and external marketing programs

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists Administrator in establishing strategic marketing plans to achieve facility Business Development goals.

With the Administrator, develops and executes Business Development Plan to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share and community awareness.

Plans and executes promotional activities including Acute Hospital Case Manager visits, targeted physician visits, ER and ALF visits, and all other potential community contacts and referral sources.

Must work closely with Administrator, DON, Social Services, BOM, and others to quickly gain consensus on resident Admissions, to arrange bed moves needed and to ensure a discharge plan is in place prior to Admission.

Maintains marketing database and all statistical reports required.

Tracks, collates, and maintains inventory of marketing materials.

Compiles and produces regularly scheduled reports from all Business Development efforts as required.

Monitors and maintains marketing budgets and usage reports.

Helps manage marketing budget, keeps and delivers to Administrator monthly petty cash logs by the 5th of the following month.

Assists with the creation and production of sales, marketing, and promotional materials.

Complies with the facility’s attendance policy requiring regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.

Provides tours of facility, explains services, and distributes brochures.

Performs rounds every morning to assure vacant rooms are presentable during tours.

Determines primary and secondary payers. Obtains all pertinent documents, and prepares and types Admission Agreement.

Assists in calling hospital for referrals and daily follow-up.

Coordinates with case managers, discharge planners, and social workers from referral source to ensure smooth transfer of residents.

Conducts a tour of the facility as needed for discharge planners and families.

Informs nursing and other department managers of potential admissions.

Tracks HMO patient’s length of stay and progress.

Follows up with family members during placement on discharge status.
